We started the month off by getting your sixth month pictures. Below are just a few.
You are such a happy baby and only seem to cry for two things these days. The first is when you're starving and want to let everyone in the world know just how hungry you are. The second is when you are trying to let us know that you are. Not. Tired....Like REALLY not tired. Like if we even think about walking you into your room you'll flip.
You are still army crawling all over the place and are actually pretty fast these days. The other day you followed me into the kitchen for the first time and you've never done that before.

When we go places you seem to just take it all in. You're so interested in everything and just stare at people - and things - like you really understand what is going on.
After about five minutes though you plaster that big grin on your face and light up the room.
The big event for the month was your first Thanksgiving in Virginia (your 7th state in 6 months)!
We got to spend four days with your Grandma, Grandpa, Auntie and Uncles!
While there you got an early Christmas present, your very first car! OK, so it's not what you'll be interested in driving in 15 1/2 years, but you absolutly LOVE it right now. You got so excited when you saw it. You started jumping up and down and could not wait to play in it.
You had so much fun with your Auntie and Uncles too. They made you laugh all weekend long!

It was a fast trip but a great one and baby boy you were such a good baby the whole time.

It was a fast trip but a great one and baby boy you were such a good baby the whole time. The other big news this month is you said your first word... Dada. I knew this was going to be your first word just by how much you love hanging with your Daddy. You also are understanding more word these days - Paci, Baba (bottle), Dada, Mommy, and Dog.
We also are still going to our play groups and you are getting more and more social. Like I said before it takes you a few minutes to warm up to everyone, but when you do it's all out fun from then on!

Like I said before it takes you a few minutes to warm up to everyone, but when you do it's all out fun from then on! You have started to recognize when me or your Daddy walks in and out of room and sometimes get upset if we leave you before you want us too. I' m sure you'll grow out of that soon.
You still only have the two bottom teeth but I have a feeling more will be joining them soon. You also got your first ear infection this month. It's not as bas as it sounds though, you had no fever and you actually enjoyed the medicine. I know, it shocked us too. Since we went to the doctors for your ear we know that you weigh 17lbs. 5 oz now.
