9 months

Gavin you are 9 months old!

I had to post two nine month pics because I love them both!

You are still a happy baby. We had your nine month appointment and you did great. You did get a few shots but you didn't cry for too long. You weigh 20.8lbs (62%) are 28.75" long (60%) and your head is 18.25" (82%).

A few months ago we had to go to a cranial specialist for your head. You were not rolling over at all and sleeping directly on your back, so the back of your head was pretty flat. It's almost like you knew we had that appointment because you started to roll over as soon as we scheduled it. Needless to say the follow up appointment went great this month and you're head is looking great!

 You love playing with your brother, Mommy and Daddy. You just smile and giggle the entire time.

You started to eat real food this month and I'm still trying to find something you DON'T like. You eat everything we give you. You still drink five bottles a day and take a paci at night. You take two naps a day still and sleep from 7:30pm until about 8:00am (hurray)!

You also say Dog now, well "Da" when you see Grace. Speaking of Grace, that dog makes you laugh. You think she is the funniest thing around. 

You are still extremely happy and smile at everyone you see. You're not shy at all and love when people talk to you.

You now roll all over the place and I feel like crawling is coming soon. You also love to sit next to your brother in the car. He faces forward and you face backwards so you can see each other and you just laugh at him. It's adorable.

This month also marked your first Easter!

We went to the neighborhood party for the egg hunt on Saturday. You found one egg and held on tight to it. 

When you woke up Sunday you realized the Easter Bunny had indeed come to our house. I think your brother was more into it than you though. Afterwards we went to church and then to brunch. 

Your little personality is really starting to come through and you could not be any more relaxed and easy going. You like to entertain yourself and laugh and only shed a few tears when you're hungry. We love you my little monkey and look forward to every day we have with you!

Gavin 8 months

Gavin you are 8 months old!

You are now sitting up on your own, eating a ton of baby food, drinking four bottles a day and the best part is you're sleeping 12 HOURS at night (with two naps a day still)!

This month you went up to Milwaukee with Mommy and Daddy for Mommy's Uncle Mike's Funeral. It was a really sad weekend but your smiling face helped bring some happiness to everyone.

You pretty much ignored each other, as babies do at this age, but I know we'll have a lot more play dates in the future!

This month was also your first St. Patrick's Day! Mommy loves this holiday and dressing you boys up. You are at least 1/8 Irish Gavin, we need to celebrate that for sure!

Gavin 8 months and Ethan 10 months

You love to laugh and are starting to realize you can MAKE people laugh, which you love even more. You still like to play a lot and only cry when hungry these days. You sleep on your belly every night and love your paci more and more each day.

You also said your first two words this month. The first was MAMA and the second was DADA. I was secretly hoping Mama would be first. Ethan, you and I were driving in the car and you said it. I had to confirm with Ethan that he heard it too and he did! You only said it a couple of times and then moved on to saying Dada all the time.

We love you little guy. You bring a smile to our faces every day!

Gavin 7 months

 Gavin you are 7 months old!

To start this month off we went on your first trip to Disney World in Florida. You were such a great traveler on both plane rides. You were too young for a lot of the things we did, so you sat in the stroller a lot on this trip. You didn't seem to mind that much though. You just liked watching everyone and everything that went by (especially your big brother).

Later in the month we celebrated your first Valentine's Day. You were the cutest little Valentine for Mommy this year!

At the end of the month you and Mommy went to Arizona to celebrate your cousin Nate's first birthday and baptism. Again, you were awesome on the plane and slept on Mommy on both plane rides.

Almost sitting up!

You are such a sweet little boy. You're almost sitting up but still need some help. You're drinking around 5-6 bottles a day and eating level 1 baby foods. You still wake up once or twice a night and need a bottle to go back to sleep. You also started rolling over this month, which is big because you like to sleep on your tummy. You also got your two bottom teeth this month!

We love you little man.
