In two short years.

Where do I begin. You are a fiercely independent kid that loves to do things on your own. You tell Mommy and Daddy often "I do" or if you drop it you say "I got it". You are taking swim lessons again and love them. You love being in the water or around water at all times if you could. We go to the pool a lot and you are so happy every time we go.

1. At a friends birthday party (you're in the orange shirt) 2. With Daddy building a wooden truck 3. You and Grace the dog sitting in the bathroom during one of the many tornado sirens we endured this year 4. Putting your backpack "away" in your cabinet in the kitchen.

You are such a big boy you eat with a spoon and fork all by yourself now and no more high chair for you either.

You are also starting to talk in sentences more and more each day. It's amazing what a sponge you are. We really only have to say things once and you pick up on it.

You love trucks and tractors right now. When we drive down the road you point out all the big trucks we see. Although you say truck with an F (and without the R). It's pretty entertaining.

We didn't have a big party for you this year since you're still too young for that. We just had a bbq at home and Nana and Papa came to town to help celebrate with us!

You loved all the gifts that everyone got for you. You play with every single one and have no favorites yet.

You are so much fun to be around (most of the time). You of course have your "2 year old moments" as we call them. Some fun things you like to say and do right now:

You call Mommy "Sunny" instead of Mommy or Mama. You know my name is Mama but prefer to call me Sunny.
When Daddy comes home from work every day you get really excited and scream "Daddy-O"!
You like to tell Gracie the dog she is going into Time out if she doesn't stop begging, and Mommy has even put her in Time Out a few times.
You are starting to repeat everything we say and it's very clear too. You are becoming great at talking.
On that note, you also know what you DON'T want, and say No often.
You LOVE swimming and playing in the sprinkler.
You are a great eater - but waffles and cereal are your favorite right now.
You love being with your little friends. Running around playing.
Your laugh is contagious.
You are 36" tall and weigh 26 lbs.
You went to the dentist for the first time and did OK. No issues so far. Daddy went too so you were able to sit on his lap (since Mommy's belly is a little too big right now for you to fit).
