Ethan you are 2 years and 4 months old now.
A nice family portrait the night before Gavin was born

Things in your life are a bit hectic but we're getting back into a nice routine. First of all you welcomed your brother with open arms a couple of months ago and you haven't looked back. You call him "Gabin".

Gavin has just started to smile at you and that makes you very happy. You love to play with your matchbox cars and toy trains. If we let you play all day with them you'd be a very happy boy.

Your cousin Nate came to visit shortly after Gavin was born and you had so much fun playing with him! He thought you were hysterical and you thought that was awesome!

You also love playing in the backyard. We live in Texas so there were MANY days this summer that you couldn't play outside because it was too hot. It's finally becoming nice again and you are taking full advantage of it. You love to play with the sprinkler, hose, basketball hoop and soccer. You tell everyone to watch you by swing "I kick, I kick".

You have such a great personality little guy. You started preschool in September and since then you've learned so much. The first few weeks you didn't really care for school but now you seem to like it. every morning Daddy gets you up and ready and you "Go school".

Daddy is your favorite person with Mommy a close second and Gavin an even closer third. The other day I asked you what you wanted for lunch and you said "ummm, to see Daddy". It just made my heart burst when you said that. You like to run over to us and say "Play chop chop Daddy, Play chop chop Sunny". That should be noted too, you still call me Sunny instead of Mommy. We still don't know where you came up with that, but I answer to it now.

You love hanging out with other little friends too. You love being social. They say you're shy at school right now, but I know it's only a matter of time before that changes.  You and your Daddy are very similar and like to take in the scene before you speak too much.

Some fun little sayings you say these days:

"I make it" - you say this when you're showing us a new craft or artwork that you've done
"I no want it" - when you don't want to do something, like take a bath
"Big car, little car" - as you point to our cars
"Daddy go work in little car" - when you hear Daddy is at work
"Dumb Fu*k" - Dump Truck
"Fu*k" - Truck
"Let's go home"

You still like to eat but on your terms. You LOVE cereal, yogurt, fruit, grilled cheese, chicken nuggets, pizza, pancakes, etc.

We recently went to Six Flags Over Texas with Daddy's work and you had such a great time. You danced with all the characters and even had a crowd around you clapping when you were dancing. You enjoyed the rides and loved playing games with Daddy...

You even won this HUGE stuffed animal all on your own!

It's been a fun past few months little man and we can't wait for you to wake up each day to make us laugh.

We love you!!!
